Join us for our popular, annual, festive event with the world-famous illustrator of The Gruffalo – Axel Scheffler!

What’s Included in Your Magical Morning!
Live Drawing: See Axel bring his beloved characters to life on stage! All original, signed drawings created during the event will be auctioned off afterwards, giving you the chance to gift or bring home a treasured, one-of-a-kind piece of art this Christmas.
Storytelling: Enjoy a captivating reading from Axel and Alison Green’s new book, Welcome – a joyful picture book about friendship and togetherness, along with treasured classics The Snail and the Whale and The Gruffalo’s Child.
Q&A: Get to know Axel better! During this session, children can ask Axel about his characters and creative process.
Book Signing: The event concludes with a book signing session, giving you the perfect opportunity to meet Axel and create a treasured memory of the day.
Inspire Young Minds:This 40-minute show is a fantastic opportunity to inspire your little ones’ love for books, creativity, and imagination.

Sessions and Location
Date: Saturday 29th November
Location: St Stephen’s Church in Twickenham
Options:
Show 1: 9.30am – 10.10am
Show 2: 11.45am – 12.25pm
A 40-minute show, followed by the book signing.
Price:
Tickets: £14 per person (plus booking fee)* – Limited tickets available.
All children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.
All attendees, including accompanying adults must purchase their own ticket (e.g., 1 Child + 1 Adult = 2 Tickets).
Book signing: Please note, only books purchased at the event are acceptable for signing.

There will be a wide range of books, limited-edition prints, Christmas cards, and other exclusive, unique products such as kids’ aprons, crayons, and caps – All illustrated by Axel!
These will be available to purchase on the day. All profits support Habitats & Heritage-helping local nature and conservation projects.
Cash and card payments will be accepted for book and merchandise purchases.
