Encouraging sustainable behaviour
We run or are involved in many projects dedicated to promoting behaviours that help people reduce negative impacts on the environment and become more sustainable including energy saving, food growing, improving air quality and promotion of waste reduction through re-use, recycling and home composting.
Our energy efficiency project works with schools, charities, community organisations and households and helps them to save energy, money and reduce carbon emissions.
Waste minimisation, recycling and home composting
Every day across south and west London hundreds of thousands of items that could be recycled or reused are sent to landfill. We work with communities to educate and promote the benefits of waste minimisation and reduction.
Growing food locally has many benefits, for both people, communities and the environment. We run and have supported many community food growing projects across south and west London.
Make a difference
We need your help to take care of the local landscapes, heritage, wildlife and ecosystems of south and west London and ensure we can protect and enhance them for future generations.
