Volunteer Gardening at Orleans House Gallery

Every Wednesday from 10.30am, Orleans House Gallery invites volunteers to roll up their sleeves and enjoy a morning of gardening in its beautiful riverside grounds. Nestled in wooded parkland, the gallery’s gardening team helps care for flower beds, supports the woodland ecosystem and keeps the site looking its best for all who visit.

What’s involved

  • Weeding, pruning and watering the gallery beds

  • Learning and developing horticultural skills with expert guidance

  • Helping to care for and maintain gardening tools and equipment
