- Habitats & Heritage event

Join us for a fun foreshore litter pick on the Thames!
π
Saturday 8 November 2025
β° Drop in anytime between 10:30am and 1pm
Help us clean up the river during low tide and, new for this year, join litter-picking walks around Richmond while learning more about the impact of litter on local wildlife.
This free event takes place alongside the Draw Off, when the Thames between Richmond and Teddington locks is drained, revealing litter for us to collect. Weβll provide all the equipment – just wear warm, waterproof clothing and bring your wellies (Thames mud is notorious for staining!).
π¨βπ©βπ§ Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
π Meeting point: The river end of Whittaker Avenue, near the Richmond War Memorial
