29th September – 4th October 2025, ONLINE

Our Secret Art Auction is back again and this year we celebrate 10-year anniversary of this popular fundraiser!

All donated, unique artworks will be exhibited anonymously on the event website and auctioned from just £35 each. This enables buyers to purchase art they like whilst offering them the chance to purchase a work by a renowned artist or celebrity. Only when the art is sold is the name of the artist revealed.

Join our Secret Art Auction this September, grab yourself a masterpiece and most importantly, help us to protect and preserve the natural and historic heritage in south and west London. Your purchase might just create new habitats and revive green corridors to better support our vital biodiversity. It will give a young person the opportunity to interact meaningfully with nature. It will support sustainable and energy efficient practices, and help to protect your favourite local heritage asset. Each purchase can make a huge difference so thank you so much for taking part!

Axel Scheffler, the best-selling illustrator of many favourite children’s picture books, including the award-winning The Gruffalo is one of the charity’s patrons and donates an illustration every year.
Axel says: “The Secret Art Auction is a unique way to raise funds for the important work that Habitats & Heritage does. I’m delighted to take part again this year and I encourage other artists to contribute a piece of art for this great cause.”

Lucia Pekarova, Habitats & Heritage Events Lead says: “We are delighted so many renowned artists donate their creations each year. It is not just for professional artists – we would encourage everyone to get involved by contributing or buying art. This is our flagship fundraising event of the year and we want to make our 10th Secret Art Auction our best yet.”
