Burton Mausoleum Re-opening Day

We are excited to invite you to the re-opening of the Burton Mausoleum in Mortlake! After nearly 2 years, the Burton: Exploring Without Boundaries team are excited to invite you to step inside and experience the wonder of Sir Richard & Lady Isabel’s Bedouin-style tent mausoleum.
Due to size restrictions, we can only invite up to 10 people to each tour group and visitors will be encouraged to enter the tomb 3 at a time.
Please note, the entry to the mausoleum is narrow and there is a small step. Visitors will also be invited to climb the ladder at the back of the mausoleum. If you need any assistance, please make us aware prior to the day.
Dates: 16, 23 and 30 May 2026. There will be eight time slots per day, running from 11 am to 3.30 pm.
