Anna King
Anna is the Deputy CEO at Habitats & Heritage, where she leads the development of the Grimwood Road Community Garden in Twickenham – a welcoming space that brings people together through nature, learning and community action. With a background in social work, Anna has spent her career supporting children, families, including those caring for children with disabilities. She was privileged to spend ten years leading the Holly Lodge Centre in Richmond Park, helping children and people with disabilities discover and enjoy the nature and heritage of one of London’s most treasured landscapes. Passionate about making the outdoors accessible to everyone, Anna loves creating opportunities for people to connect with nature. She has a particular affection for the River Thames and, when she’s not at work, can often be found kayaking from Richmond Canoe Club and exploring the river’s ever-changing wildlife and landscapes.
