25% of London’s green space is made up of private gardens. This event is part of the Habitats & Heritage Garden Survey, encouraging people to let us know about the habitats they have in their garden so we can make Richmond better for wildlife together. Find out more about the Garden Survey here.

From wandering hedgehogs to chirping birds to buzzing pollinators, there’s wildlife in Richmond for everyone. Join us for a day of free activities unlocking the nature on our doorsteps and in our gardens.

πŸŽ‰ Family-Friendly Eco Activities:Β Children and families can join our range of eco-friendly activities. Make a bug hotel with recycled materials and take part in engaging games to learn about the important creatures big and small that inhabit our area.

πŸ—£οΈ Engaging Nature Talks: Expand your knowledge about the local ecosystem and wildlife-friendly gardening with nature talks from the Habitats & Heritage habitats team.Β  Bring your questions and curiosity!

🚢 Wildlife Walk Adventure:Β Take a wildlife walk through the local area with the Habitats & Heritage habitats team, discovering Richmond’s complex ecosystems and how our gardens and balconies are part of this mosaic.
