Heritage Bus Tour

Join Habitats & Heritage on Friday the 28th July for a tour of our heritage sites aboard Lord Hendy of Richmond Hill’s classic Routemaster bus. The tour will take in the Kilmorey Mausoleum, the St. Leonards Court air raid shelter, the Burton Mausoleum and Grove Gardens Chapel. The tour will begin and end outside the Albany Pub in Twickenham (Albany Bus Stand) which is just a stones throw from Twickenham Railway Station.

The tour will commence at 10:30am at the Albany Bus Stand (TW1 4LJ) and will end around 4pm. Toilets are available to use at Grove Gardens Chapel and in Mortlake.

Please note that the tour uses a heritage vehicle which does not have step-free access. The St. Leonards Court air raid shelter requires descending 13 steps in low light conditions. Good footwear is advised at other sites which require walking on uneven grass. The tour may not be suitable for very young children due to the nature of the sites.
