Visit to the St. Leonards Court Air Raid Shelter

A rare opportunity to step inside the Second World War air raid shelter at St. Leonards Court in East Sheen. Experience the underground rooms with a knowledgeable volunteer and help support a project to conserve the shelter for future generations.

The shelter requires descending 13 steps and is poorly lit inside. We advise wearing sensible footwear.

Please meet at the entrance gates to St. Leonards Court in Palmers Road at 11am. Precise meeting location: SW14 7NB.
