Join Habitats & Heritage and our partners Thames Landscape Strategy continuing their work on the Rewilding Arcadia Project.

The session: 10am -2pm

 

Meeting location: End of Old Palace Lane on the riverside. Google Maps

 

The session will be helping to restore and naturalise the foreshore between Richmond and Kew, through spiling, coppicing and invasive species removal, among other tasks.

Join the session to find out more about the rewilding project and get hands on experience of how we can improve and help to preserve and restore our foreshore and floodplains.

Full instructions and safety briefing and all tools will be provided. We ask that volunteers bring their own work/ gardening gloves for the session. Please wear clothes for manual work and boots or wellingtons as this work is conducted in muddy conditions. Please bring also bring water and clothing appropriate for the weather.
