Talk: Are Citizens’ Assemblies the solution to political paralysis?

A Citizens’ Assembly is a form of participatory decision-making which has been used successfully around the world. A fair and deeply democratic process, it brings together ordinary people, randomly selected to reflect the make-up of their country, to hear evidence from experts and find solutions to thorny issues. Citizens’ Assemblies could break through the political log-jams that block progress on tackling the climate crisis.
