Nature Conservation Assistant

South & West London

Salary: £24,337

Hours: Permanent Full Time (35 hours per week – including evening / weekend work)

Holiday entitlement: 33 days (25 days holiday + 8 public holidays)

Reports to: Nature Conservation Lead

Location: Home / office hybrid. Expected 3 – 4 days in the office or on-site, meeting groups and running sessions.  Our office is located in the ETNA Community Centre, 13 Rosslyn Road, TW1 2AR

Start Date: 3rd June 2024 (or as close as possible.)

Habitats & Heritage’s new Nature Conservation Assistant will aid the Nature Conservation Lead in our charity’s various projects including Green Hubs, youth volunteering, community engagement, biodiversity partnerships, education and citizen science. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, be adaptable, and eager to learn. Responsibilities include delivering educational events, conservation workdays, enhancing biodiversity skills, and participating in fundraising, communication, and project management.
