Habitats & Heritage is hosting a Tree Planting Day at Morden Park on 6th December alongside Merton Friends of the Earth.
The trees that we will be planting have been donated by our friends at the Heritage Trust Network to off-set the carbon from their 2019 annual conference. This programme of tree planting will help HTN to move towards their goal of reducing their impact upon the environment and becoming a more sustainable organisation.
Because of the latest government Covid-19 guidance, booking in advance is essential. There are two time slots available – 10am – 12:15pm and 1pm – 3:15pm.
The event will be run with safety first and foremost.
The rule of six will be strictly enforced and you will be asked to socially distance at all times. You will be asked to scan in (using the NHS test and Trace app) or sign in. Gloves are mandatory and must be worn at all times. We advise bringing your own work gloves to the session, although we can lend people gloves if needed. Masks are optional for the session. Hand sanitiser will be provided and tools sanitised between each use. Any other concerns relating to Covid 19 protocol or any questions relating to the event please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Due to Friends of the Earth Safety policy during Covid-19 this event is for those aged 18 and over. We apologies for any disappointment caused.
