Christmas Tales with Axel Scheffler, illustrator of The Gruffalo

Online Event: Inspire your little ones to open up their world of imagination at our family online show with Axel Scheffler, illustrator of The Gruffalo.

Axel Scheffler, the world-famous illustrator is hosting an exclusive, online family event for Habitats & Heritage on Saturday 5th December. Axel will be reading some of the books he created with Julia Donaldson as well as drawing his most famous characters.

Kick start the festive season and join Axel from the comfort of your home as he reads some of the much-loved books he created with Julia Donaldson – ‘The Gruffalo’s Child’ and ‘Stick Man’!

Axel will also be drawing his most famous characters, such as The Gruffalo, Stickman, Snail and the Whale…so grab a pen and paper and have a go too! *

This one-off workshop lasts approximately 30 minutes and will be followed by a live Q&A.

This event will take place online via Webex. You do not need a Webex account. A link will be sent to you no later than 30 minutes before the start of the event. Individual’s cameras and audio will be turned off but you will be able to take part in Q&A via chat at the end of the event.
