Hanworth Air Park Biodiversity Project – Pond Restoration Workshop

You are invited to explore Hanworth Air Park’s ephemeral pond and its unique acid grassland ecosystem. This workshop will discuss plans to restore and extend the pond as part of the park masterplan, benefiting biodiversity.
Date/Time: Sunday, 9th February 1:00–3:30 PM – Exploring the pond with Helen Greaves (water measurements & pond life)
Location: Meet at ‘The St. Michael Steiner School’, Park Road, TW13 6PN
3:30–4:00 PM – Tea & cake break (donations welcome)
4:00–6:00 PM – Talk & Q&A with Helen Greaves (at The St Michael Steiner School)

Helen Greaves (UCL Geography) researches pond conservation and is involved in the EU Ponderful project, Norfolk Ponds Project, and European Pond Conservation Network.
