Gardening Volunteers Needed

Do you enjoy gardening? Do you have a few hours to spare? Could you help us keep Beverley Park neat and tidy?

The Friends of Beverly Park are seeking volunteers to help with general gardening tasks around the grounds of the park.

The main tasks are:
Weeding
Tidying flower beds and borders
Pruning shrubs
General tidy up

All you need are some gardening gloves, and basic tools if you have them. Garden waste bags are available at the gates by the rose beds and are replaced by empty ones when full.

Upcoming events:

Wednesday 11th September 10.00am – midday (meet at rose beds)

Saturday 28th September 10am – midday (meet at rose beds)

Everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary – it’s a great opportunity to keep active and make some new friends. If you can’t make either of the events above, feel free to pop down to the park and help out as and when you can.
