Biodiversity Records Volunteer
We are seeking a volunteer to assist the Community Development Manager with collating and organising records of species and habitats
The charity collects biodiversity local records provided to it, keeping these records as well as passing them on to a regional records centre. The volunteer will continue this work and ideally find a better solution to organising our existing records (all on Excel spreadsheets).
Tasks will include:
- Computer-based work
- Working in a team with other staff and volunteers
- Collecting and collating information/record
- Organising information/records and finding better ways of working
- Asking for records through the charity’s social media accounts
- Opportunity to get involved in other areas, including attending events or other activities
